Phonetics, Second Language Acquisition

Janalyn Miklas is a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics. She is a graduate teaching assistant for linguistic courses. In 2024, she received a Critical Language Scholarship through the U.S. Department of State to complete a full-immersion language learning program in Ankara, Türkiye. She has taught English to speakers of other languages in South Korea and Thailand. She is also an accomplished musician.
