Advanced course in semantic and pragmatic theory. Study of meaning under truth-conditional, model-theoretic framework explored and related to syntax and pragmatics. Offered by English. May not be repeated for credit. Equivalent to LING 788.
Recommended Prerequisite: LING 538 or LING 638 or permission of instructor
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate or Non-Degree.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
