Experimental, quantitative, and laboratory approaches to phonology. Topics may include experimental instrumentation, empirical inquiry, and reconciliation of theory and data, as applied to sound patterns in language. Offered by English. May not be repeated for credit. Equivalent to LING 790.
Recommended Prerequisite: LING 531

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate or Non-Degree.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
