An introduction to field methods in linguistics for language documentation and description. Students engage in linguistic fieldwork with a speaker of a particular language and undertake original research with the resulting language data. Offered by English. Equivalent to LING 673.
Recommended Prerequisite: LING 500, 606, or equivalent
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate or Non-Degree.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
