Fiction concentration in the BA in English

This concentration is intended for students interested in fiction as literature and offers an opportunity to study major works from a number of periods and embraces a variety of styles. Students must complete a core of four literature courses, one of which must cover works from before 1915. The concentration also allows students who are interested in doing so, to write some original fiction by taking one writing course that can count toward fulfilling the concentration's core requirements.
