Linguistics concentration in the BA in English

What is it that you know when you know how to speak a language like English? What is it that you do when you articulate the words of your language? What do you hear when you hear sounds "as language"? What kind of organization do you employ when you speak in "complete sentences"? Linguistics explores possible answers to these and many other questions about human language. The linguistics concentration offers a thorough grounding in contemporary linguistic description and theory.
